You’re better off sticking with the 32GB unless you’re right at an FPS threshold ceiling (59fps, 119fps, etc.) If gaming, go for the faster RAM! 16GB 3200 would def be better, 32GB is pointless for most users unless you do lots of productivity work. Extra unused ram= wasted money.
Note that gaming laptops need at least 16 GB of RAM to run the most famous and heavy games smoothly. You won’t need to compromise on the performance and graphics with the said size of the RAM. It further points toward the fact that laptops with less than 16 GB of RAM do not deserve the tag of “Gaming Laptops.” This is good enough for your gaming and probably anything else too. More RAM doesn't directly translate into more FPS. More RAM will help you with the 1% lows as well as better average. Max FPS will still be very close by. Double your RAM to 16 @ 2.6 GHz. I don't think you will notice much of a difference between 16 gigs at 2.6 and 16 gigs at 3.2 as RAM is rarely the bottle neck, however if someone with experience wishes to challenge that, I'm open to being wrong. If you want the best performance, buy the 16GB @ 3.2, pull the 8 and run some tests.
